Job Description:

Lamonby recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a building surveyor. Due to growth, the company are looking for quality, professional general Building Surveyors who would relish the opportunity to become specialists within the highly regarded Party Wall area.

The successful candidate would be joining a leading, multi-dimensional surveying & design consultancy as demonstrated by the profile of our quality high profile projects and positive employee culture.

 

Building Surveyor Role: -

 

Service of Notices under Part Wall Act

Management of notice responses and Party Wall Act administration

General site inspections and Schedules of Condition

Party Wall Award negotiation and design team liaison

Boundary mapping

Defects investigation and damage negotiations

Scaffold / access licence negotiation.

Other ad-hoc duties as required

Client consultation on Party Wall, Access and other neighbourly Matters  

Report writing

Boundary Determination

Project meeting attendance

Other ad-hoc duties as required

 

Role Requirements and Qualifications: -

 

Professional Surveying experience: 3 - 4 years

Poses a Bachelor Degree or similar in building surveying

Some limited experience of party wall matters preferable

Experience to include Schedules of Condition and Client reporting

The ideal candidate will be highly professional but friendly and down to earth, dynamic, organised and pro-active

 

Building Surveyor Package: -

 

  • £35,000-45,000 depending on skills & experience
  • 20 days holiday
  • Working hours 9am – 5pm
  • APC training could become available in the future longer term to employees that demonstrate long term commitment to the business, superior learning & role delivery skills.
