Site operatives required for a growing Construction consultancy – projects based in/ around the Coventry area. The operatives will follow instructions from the Site foreman, project and site managers to ensure that site duties are completed and always within site guidelines.

My client specialise in Environmental projects that include Rivers, Canals, Animal habitat mitigation and similar areas. The site operative should have some previous experience of working on a construction site and have a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver site work to the highest quality, have good communication skills and be capable of working efficiently in a team.

Successful Site Foremen will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 1years experience in a similar Site operative position within the construction industry
• Ability to perform site tasks as required
• Willingness to learn new skills, and embrace environmental issues that are core responsibilities within much of the site work.

• Excellent Health and safety, site wellbeing and be physically fit for onsite work
• Valid CSCS card
• Good communicator, First aid on-site qualified and strong organisational skills.
• Desirables include – Previous environmental/ ecological site knowledge, Chainsaw medium fell, ambitious individual who wants to progress towards site foreman/ supervisor positions (opportunities will arise in the near future).
