Job Description:

Our Client are a long-established Technology Business listed on the NYSE founded in the 80’s working across industry sectors including Aerospace and Defence, Healthcare, Entertainment and more. Brands they currently work with include Walt Disney and Formula 1 to name a few. With operations spread across the US, UK and Europe, they are currently looking to recruit for an Accounts Receivable Controller to support their European shared services finance function servicing their Benelux regions also fluent in French based out of their UK Head Office.

Reporting to the European Accounts Receivable Manager, principle duties include;

  • Processing manual invoices and supporting sales transactions, through review of credit exposure and risk.
  • Debt Collection for Europe, liaising with Customers and internally to resolve debt queries promptly and professionally.      
  • Cash Forecasts, Aged Debtor Reporting. Management of bad debt and DSO’s.
  • Documentation and process control of all activities in compliance with internal controls.
  • Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests from Senior Management.
  • Build close working relationships with other Finance departments, Customer Service and Sales Managers
  • Adhere to a close timetable for month and quarter end
  • Actively supporting integration activities from acquisitions
  • Flexibility to cover team members when required

Person Specification;

  • Excellent communication skills in a second European Language (oral and written) Ideally French
  • Experience of working with a fully integrated ERP system.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good organisation and planning ability
    Flexibility with work patterns around quarter-and month-end required
  • Previous Experience of Oracle Financial Systems (Desirable)
  • An appreciation of Sarbanes Oxley (Desirable)
  • Previous Experience of working in a multi-national environment (Desirable)
  • Previous Finance Shared Service Centre experience (Desirable)
