HGV Class 2 Driver (s) – Temp to Perm

Driver Hire Slough are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to work for a leading food service wholesaler based in Slough.

Work will initially be offered on an ongoing basis, although there is potential for the right candidate to become a permanent member of our client's existing team of drivers.

Daily duties of the HGV 2 Cat C Driver

• The shift currently on offer is working 5 days out of 7 on a rota, start times vary from 3:00 to 5:00 and with the shift being between 10 and 12 hours in length
• As a Class 2 Driver for our client you would be expected to make deliveries of food and Non-food products to customers within the home counties and surrounding areas

Essential qualities of the successful HGV 2 Cat C Driver

• To be considered for this position you must have held your HGV (Category C) entitlement for a minimum of 6 months, with experience of driving a vehicle of this type and with no more than 6 points for minor driving offences. DR, IN, or DD codes will not be accepted
• You must also have a valid CPC card together with Digital Tachocard

Salary

The pay being offered initially is £14.00 per hr paid via Ltd Company or a third party payroll company or £12.54 per hr paid via advanced PAYE (including holiday pay).

These are Temp to Perm vacancies, once permanent with the client, the salary being offered is £34,500 to £35,700 pa
