THE JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager
THE PRODUCT: Automotive Retail Products
THE SALARY PACKAGE: Up to £50,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Benefits
THE TERRITORY: UK
THE ROLE OF A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Your main role will be the management of some of the UK’s largest accounts, from retail chains to multi-site distribution networks. Overseeing sales at the highest levels, you will be involved with influencing buying decisions, ensuring network roll out and field sales support.
Managing tenders processes will be a key area of your role and once done, a further important aspect is ensuring that the products are sold, merchandised and displayed correctly in stores. With a field sales team supporting you in your efforts, you will work with the sales director to help manage them effectively.
Working as a closely-knit team you will get your sleeves rolled up where necessary and get involved as and where needed, whether that is visiting stores, distributors, trace end users or attending shows all with the objective to not only pushing sales in, but also creating pull through so more products are sold.
EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:
As a Key Account Manager, it is essential to be well motivated, driven and ambitious along with the ability to be to work well alone and as part of a wider UK & European team.
In depth knowledge of retail markets or distribution networks is of course key and being able to build strong and long-lasting relationships is essential.
