A successful, international commercial-property consultancy based in Manchester’s city centre is looking to expand its support team with a Rating Administrator.

The role

This admin position will suit an experienced property administrator, especially someone who is comfortable handling numerical data and who has a keen eye for detail. As an accurate typist, you will be a confident user of Microsoft Office, and have experience of using internal databases.

This role will involve supporting the company’s regional rating surveyors, who are based in Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham. Your admin job will be based permanently in the Manchester office, where you will be:

  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • Keeping the bespoke client system up to date with new instructions, clients, and contacts
  • Preparing rent return forms, and other reports
  • Financial and rating reporting
  • Copy typing
  • General administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Entering and maintaining accurate, up-to-date rating information on the firm’s extensive rating database

A salary of £18,000 is available to the successful Rating Administrator, coupled with a benefits package that includes a performance-related staff profit share scheme, a pension, medical cover, fitness allowance, life/accident insurance, and 26 days’ holiday per year.
