We need:

  • A Banking Senior Analyst for the Current Account Insight Team.
  • Location is flexible; however, you will need to be in the Swindon office up to 3 days a week
  • £30,506 - £44,065 a year (dependant on experience), on a permanent 35-hour contract.

Who we're looking for

As part of the minimum requirement of the role, we are looking for candidates with skills in the following areas: 

  • Have experience using Base SAS or Enterprise Guide, being proficient in use of Macros and SQL.
  • Financial Services experience with a sound knowledge of the Current Account market.
  • Able to interpret and correlate a wide range of business performance measures and present information to a senior audience in a logical and understandable way. 
  • Have excellent communication skills, being able to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Excellent time management skills, enabling you to work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery of multiple pieces of work.
  • Be numerate with a logical mind set and be imaginative in problem solving, with the ability to investigate business issues and draw conclusions.
  • Knowledge of Data Analysis tools and Data Manipulation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Be degree educated or equivalent.

What you'll be doing

The Current Account Insight Team is responsible for providing our key stakeholders with analysis on customer, market and product portfolio performance. 

  • You’ll be responsible for supporting key initiatives and will help drive the insights that will enable us to meet and exceed our business targets.
  • Working with our internal customers to understand their analytical requirements, using SAS to develop solutions which drive the strategy of the business. This includes developing an understanding of the portfolio dynamics and the customer base.
  • The data you gather and the insights you generate along the way will prove invaluable, not only to our immediate stakeholders but to colleague’s right across the business.
  • Presenting information to a senior audience.
