Software Developer- £60,000-£70,000

This is an opportunity for a passionate Software Developer to join a Government-backed startup as they undergo continued growth of their software development function.

In a company that always keeps up to date with the latest technological advancements, this role will enable you to progress your technical capabilities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working to create data platforms used by a large client base for the purpose of making more environmentally conscious business decisions.

As a member of this team, there’s always the opportunity to learn new languages and frameworks. Beyond this, whether you’re looking to move into team leadership or work towards a Principal Developer, there are plenty of opportunities to do so for those with a strong work ethic.

Applicants must have strong experience of modern software development practices and core Python and Javascript experience.

Nice to have (but not essential):

* Exposure to Cloud technologies.
* Knowlege or exposure to Big Data Processing ie. Spark, Hadoop.
* Agile Environments.
* Demonstrable experience of picking up new languages quickly.
