Technical Support Consultant

Profectus have a brand new opportunity for a Technical Support Consultant to work for its Reading based IT company.

The successful candidate will receive extensive training in the software the company works with. The role will involve both helpdesk support as well as product training via ‘goto meeting’. This role will also involve installing product by remote session, be able to troubleshoot product by email, telephone and remote session. This truly is a great role for someone to kick their IT career on to the next level and work with some of the latest tech while receiving significant training.

To be considered for this role you will have experience within the following;

  • 1-2 years helpdesk experience preferable
  • Good understanding of windows networks
  • Some Active Directory Knowledge
  • Some troubleshooting methodology
  • Experience of any Unix operating systems (ideally Linux)
  • Excellent communication skills
