1st and 2nd Line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst

Job Title:  1st and 2nd Line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst

Location:  Heckmondwike

Type:         Permanent

Start date: Immediate

 

My client is looking to recruit a 1ST and 2nd Line Support Analyst to provide support to their client base. Travel to sites could be required, so candidates must have a car and driving licence.

 

As 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst you will have the following skills/experience:

  • 2 years previous experience in a 1st or 2nd line desktop/application support analyst role
  • Experience with troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based products such as Windows XP, Windows 7, Office 2007, Office 2010
  • Support and maintain MS Server/ Desktops and MS Exchange
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP etc)
  • Active directory knowledge/experience

 

The following personal skills are required:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Confident and clear communicator
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Driving licence

 

The following experience is desirable:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional
  • ITIL Foundation v3 Certificate
