What you would be doing…


You, as our IT First Line Support Technician, will work in our head office offering staff first line support.

You would report to our highly skilled Business Support Manager (Technology) and work alongside our System Developer & Support Technician and Trilogy in the provision of this support. The team works closely together and is also tightly connected with the whole business. This will give you the great opportunity to bounce ideas off and learn from each other. There may also be some queries that filter through from our member partners.

To do this, you would have experience…

  •  Supporting desktops, printers, servers and networking devices and related software
  • Managing domain environments (recent versions of Active Directory and dns, dhcp, file shares, etc.)
  • Working on recent versions of Exchange or Office365 Exchange (mail server)
  • Basic understanding of phone systems
  • Managing third party relationships 
  • Mimecast (Mail journaling)
  • Office365 Administrator and exchange platform
  • Active Directory…and preferably have experience working with:
  • Windows 7 or 10 Desktops
  • Office 2013+
  • Windows 2008 Server+
  • Mobile devices (e.g. iPads)

To be successful in this role, you would have previous done…

  • Face to face First Line support for a team of c. 65
  • Infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Purchasing and setting up of new PC/Laptops/Monitors
  • Doing your own support work and administration
