Due to the continued growth of the company my client are looking to expand their team and recruit an additional Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer working within the various infrastructure sectors including various buildings including residential and commercial, heavy civils and energy.

You will ideally be a Chartered or very near Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with at least 5 years Temporary Works Design experience. The candidate should have a good command of geotechnics and a sound understanding of construction techniques. Excellent ongoing support will be provided towards chartered status if required.

You will be a senior member of the Temporary Works Design team which currently consists of Design Engineers and some CAD Technicians. You will ideally be an analytically minded person from a technical background and be keen to continue in a technical role.

• Basement Construction Consultancy (to include Planning, Party Wall, methodology)
• "Buildability"
• Construction Sequencing and Planning
• Crane Foundations
• Craneage & Materials Handling
• Demolition Consultancy
• Façade retention
• Falsework
• Floor Load Testing & reports
• Formwork
• Marine Works
• Party Wall Consultancy
• Propping, Shoring & Jacking
• Scaffolding
• Structural Alterations

Their client base is large, expanding and demanding. A first class, rapid service is expected and sometimes involves site visits.
