We are looking for an inquisitive and proactive Control Room Officer to join the response team working for a prestigious carmanufacturing company in Oxford. In order to be successful for this position you must have excellent communication and thrive in a high pressure environment.
The main responsibility of the Control Room Officer is to work alongside the Protective Service Team by dispatching them to emergencies on site which will include medical and fire emergencies. You will also be required to:
Effectively assist with a wide range of enquiries and requests from staff, visitors and contractors on site.
Recognise conflict situations and inform the Protective Services Team.
Assist as instructed by appointed persons in any incident that might impact on the business.
Report to the Protective Services Supervisor all faults, perceived Health and Safety hazards and unsafe working practices.

Due to the nature of this role you must:
Be a confident communicator, both written and verbal
Hold a valid SIA licence
Be able to demonstrate experience in a fast paced customer facing or security role
Be able to demonstrate you can think and act quickly in emergency situations or whilst under pressure
Be fully IT literate
