This role provides key support to the Asset Technical team by delivering the execution phase of projects and making technical decisions to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of engineering works, on time, to specification and within budget.

Candidates must have project management experience combined with strong leadership skills. You should also be commercially aware, i.e. reporting monthly on project budgets, actuals, forecast and schedules and leading the budget building programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-million pound projects with an emphasis on pipework, storage tanks and rotating equipment. You will lead a team of multi-disciplined project managers, project engineers and construction managers in their delivery of projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidates will ideally have experience and understanding of:

• Tank Terminals and Pipeline Projects
• Construction in the UK
• UK Safety Regulations relevant to process industries e.g. CDM 2015, COMAH, DSEAR, PSSR, PER, PUWER & EAWR.

Candidates should be degree qualified in an engineering related subject and should have experience within the oil and gas sector, or a similarly regulated industry, i.e. a COMAH regulated business. Candidates must have a driving license.
