Job Title: BIT and Digital Tutor / Trainer
 
Location: Manchester / North West - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £28,000 - £32,500 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + Much More

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET
• Have experience of delivering BIT (Business Improvement Techniques) and ideally Digital/IT (or have strong competency within Digital/IT - or have embedded IT/Digital learning within existing delivery)
• Experience of delivering classroom / group and work-based training.
• Experience of teaching / delivering Functional Skills English and Maths to level 2.
• Hold solid occupational competency within Business Improvement Techniques.
• Experience of working with a wide variety of  learners and have the ability to inspire and motivate them.
• Good understanding of Ofsted requirements.
• IT Literate
• Driver with own vehicle, and flexible with travel

Duties include:

• Train, support and assess learners working towards AEB qualifications in BIT Business Improvement Techniques at level 2, and Digital IT qualifications in a group setting, 1-1 and online.
• Deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
• Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
