The Company:

ATA recruitment is working with a global giant in the field of automated warehousing and distribution. They have a huge UK presence and work with a portfolio of blue chip customers. This particular site is a state of the art facility and considered to be one of the UK’s flag ship sites.

The Role:

The Site Engineering manager is responsible for keeping plant availability at the highest possible level through strong leadership of the maintenance department, and the development of CI and lean manufacturing initiatives.

There is continued capital investment on site, and the delivery of projects to improve performance is in this remit.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer is key as you will be working very closely together to analyse KPI’s, discuss areas for improvement and future strategies.

Required Experience:

The successful Engineering Site manager will have the following background, skills and experience:

• Apprenticeship in engineering + HNC or above

• Engineering/maintenance management of large teams

• Project management experience

• Lean manufacturing and change management

• Commercial and operational management with experience of dealing with high value customers
