Job Description:

I am currently recruiting for a facilities coordinator to support an aerospace company based in Yeovil. The role is a 9 month contract position and will be looking for someone on a full time basis.

Contract Length: 9 months

Rate of Pay: £13.33ph- £15.90ph (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday- Friday 37 hrs

Location: Yeovil

The role of the facilities coordinator will include:

  • To co-ordinate and control the day to day running of the Site Facilities Service
  • Integrated Facilities Management (hard and soft services)
  • Catering and Hospitality
  • Commercial and Emergency Vehicles ( including onsite and offsite vehicles and updating the Insurance database)
  • Workwear
  • Heavy Lift Services
  • Site wide signage
  • High Voltage maintenance.
  • Review contract performance against the applicable Service Level Agreements and Contract Specifications
  • Work with the Contractors to identify initiatives that provide either enhanced services and or cost savings
  • Raise maintenance notifications when requested for all tasks within your scope of activities.

The successful facilities coordinator will require:

  • Educated to NVQ III in Business Administration with supporting work related experience.
  • Good interpersonal and team skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
