Job Title: Lean Manufacturing Assessor / Trainer

Location: West Yorkshire and Hull
 
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent
 
This exciting new role will see the successful candidate assessing and supporting learners in two employer sites. Initially delivery will be more online based due to the current climate, with a view to become more face to face in the future.

Duties:

• Train, assess and support a caseload of learners working towards the Lean Manufacturing Operations Apprenticeship at Level 2 – classroom based and/or remote 1 to 1 sessions.
• To embed and provide additional support for Functional Skills – Maths and English up to level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.

Essential Criteria:

• Hold own Level 3 in Lean Manufacturing as a minimum.
• Strong occupational competency within Lean Manufacturing.
• Hold own GCSE’s in Maths and English
• Experience of teaching / delivering training either internally to colleagues or externally.
• Ideally hold an Assessors award TAQA / CAVA / A1 / D32 D33 etc – or willingness to work towards
• Ideally hold PTLLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Candidates must be flexible with shift work to meet the needs of learners – in some cases this could include nights, but not guaranteed.

• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
