We are currently recruiting for a Care Home Chef

The Successful candidate will work closely with an experienced cook to provide healthy, nutritious meals suitable to dietary needs to the residents of this home whilst ensuring choice and input of the residents being a clear focus and vision of this role.

Duties will include;

You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a cook, your main responsibilities will include: food preparation, to cook and serve both hot and cold food and to meet any dietary requirements. You will also be managing the food stock, working out how to make the most of your budget, coaching a colleague or supervising the kitchen clean-up, you’ll always have resident wellbeing in mind above anything else.
