Austin Fraser Technology are working with a client in the Healthcare sector to onboard an experienced Database Consultant with a background in MySQL.

My client are driven by Founders of technical backgrounds whom are very much ideas people and like to keep things moving forwards. As such, they are looking to review their current Database set-up with an open mind and are looking for a specialist consultant to come in from a DBA/MySQL background that can lend their support and offer ideas on; best practices, approaches, other tools/systems, how to best deal with specific issues etc.

This would be for an initial 6 month contract and would sit outside of IR35.

Experience in supporting high-performance database solutions in MySQL

Experience in managing, maintaining, supporting and designing highly scalable and reliable database systems
*

Experience with wide range of Databases such as MariaDB.
*

Defining DB processes
*

Experience in migration and upgrade processes
