Job Description:

Full-time (37 hours per week) Project Officer  contract to start on 27-07-20 until 01-07-21 with a possible extension.

Understand and apply the appropriate project management disciplines, i.e. planning, resourcing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting and risk, issue and dependency management in line with the corporate Project Management approach across the regeneration project lifecycle. Produce the necessary documentation to initiate, manage, report on and close projects for approval by the Programme Manager, Project Sponsor and Programme Management Board (as appropriate). Manage the quality of deliverables for projects ensuring that corporate standards, including governance and management, are applied, business needs are met and that appropriate change control procedures are undertaken when necessary. Ensure that the delivered project is maintainable and handed over with appropriate documentation and sufficient transition plans. Ensure key interdependencies between other projects and other initiatives both internal and external to the workplace, are identified, planned and managed. Be responsible for creating and adhering to project communication plans and working with the internal Communications and Engagement Team to ensure they are targeted appropriately to relevant internal and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with other members of the PMO to support the delivery of high quality project management practice across the organisation. Produce materials to support presentation of projects to programme boards, managing risks, issues and dependencies to required quality and within approved tolerances.
