THE COMPANY:

This organisation is experiencing huge growth within the UK. Functions that would have been outsourced before, are now being brought back in house to react to this growth and build a bigger and stronger team for the future. As such, a new management accountant role has been created on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE OF AN ACCOUNTANT:

Within the role, you will be working very closely with the director and wider finance team, taking control of all activities internally. The role will be an interesting and exciting one that will change over time. Working for this small business, you will have a major impact on all matters and your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

* Delivery of month end accounts and analysis in line with reporting deadlines
* Calculate and post accruals, prepayments, depreciation and other periodic journals
* Cash flow reporting
* Support annual budget and forecasting
* Year end audits
* Work with the HMRC on all tax returns, computations and VAT matters
* Advising the directors of the business strategy regarding finances
* Foreign currency exchange and calculations

EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT:

You will be AAT qualified or equivalent as this will hold you at an advantage and should have a number of years working in a similar type of role / environment

Alongside this, you should be flexible and agile to a change strategy and focus as and when the business requires.
