Job Description:

This is a permanent role for 37.5 hours per week (hours will be across 7 days a week; the team are in the office 9am - 8pm Monday - Saturday and until 7pm on Sundays).

For the permanant position the salary is between £16-18k with a monthly performance based bonus. 

The role is working in our Property Recruitment team – this is an inbound sales team essentially who are responsible for making initial contact with property owners thinking of renting their property. The calls will be with a wide range of potential owners, from very experienced owners transferring from another agency through to people who have literally just thought that they might purchase a holiday cottage and are looking for advice about where to start looking for a property, so we provide initial advice and feedback depending on their circumstance.

Ultimately, the team aim to set up a meeting with the Regional Manager, but also provide initial advice on any queries, an explanation of how the company works and are responsible for selling the company to the point of booking in a visit. Following the visit, the property owner then liaises with the Contracts and Pricing team to ensure a contract is signed.

It’s a really lovely team – they are very busy and hardworking but there is a nice buzz about the floor. The management team are really high energy and supportive, and they’ve recently had a new Exec Director join them so there will be lots of new initiatives and ideas in the team. I think they hit their 2016 year target about 6 weeks early, so it’s a team doing really well.

In terms of candidates, we are looking (ideally) for someone with some sales experience (b2b would be a bonus) and evidence of achieving targets, high energy with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will need to be credible when giving information (we’ll train them on what they need to know!).

Salary is £16 – 18k basic, and the monthly KPI bonus can be up to £500 plus all the other staff benefits (20 days holiday, PMI, pension, life assurance, enhanced maternity, long service awards). Working hours are fairly flexible on a rota basis but will include some evenings and weekends. 

 

Purpose of the role-

Our main aim and focus is to secure a visit with one of our Regional Managers during each PNO call, whilst impressing owners with our knowledge and expertise to help win their business

Maintain an accurate database and workflow system to smoothly and efficiently move PNOs through the onboarding process successfully, keeping written records of the property details and conversations that have taken place.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Good standard of written work with accuracy and attention to detail.

Desirable Experience:

  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • IT literacy of the following packages; Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability within a sales environment
  • Confident and able to use initiative

Business to business experience.

You will be first point of contact for Potential New Owners looking to put their holiday cottage with an agency like us. You will need to wow and excite these Potential New Owners by selling the fantastic benefits of working with us. The Role:

You will be the first point of contact for Potential New Owners when they call or contact us to discuss letting their holiday cottage with us. Our main aim and focus is to secure a visit with one of our Regional Managers. Making good use of the information gathered you must impress the owner with our knowledge and expertise.  Each new Owner must leave an introductory call wanting to work with us and looking forward to meeting our Regional Manager.

The Property Specialist will also speak to a Potential New Owner after a Regional Manager has visited to answer any further questions, keeping in contact until a contract has been signed.


We are looking for a full time flexible individual who is able to work both evening shifts (8pm) and weekends (one weekend day every other weekend).
