THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£35,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Benefits
THE LOCATION: Covering Midlands mainly with some UK wide travel
THE ROLE OF A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:
As a key account manager, you will look to cultivate relationships with a customer base consisting primarily of commercial vehicle fleets, dealers and councils across the UK.
Offering a fantastic range of high quality of products and an unbeatable service proposition you will have plenty of opportunity to grow and develop existing accounts while at the same time, have the whole of UK’s marketplace to develop new ones.
You will be targeting and working with medium to larger sized fleets and dealerships (not just commercial vehicle, but also agricultural markets and other associated industries), working closely with directors and purchasing managers in those organisations in order to create bespoke solutions and long lasting, beneficial relationships, that fit both your business and theirs.
Working within a small and successful sales team you will closely support one another, all with the aim of increasing growth and revenue.
EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER:
It is crucial to be both a thinker and doer. Being able to analyse the current state of play of your products and their penetration while thinking outside the box and devising creative solutions to grow the turnover.
A strong working knowledge of commercial vehicle / fleet marketplace is required as to help you hit the ground running as quickly as possible. Product knowledge isn’t essential and you could have come from any area of the industry, as long as you have sold to it, we want to hear from you!
You will also be travelling within this role extensively, both seeing your own accounts but also team meetings and joint visits. As such, someone must be comfortable staying away from home when required.
