About the company

My client is a market leading, nationwide organisation, who have successfully traded within the engineering sector for more than 30 years. They have an excellent industry reputation and a long-standing team of professionals. The role is located at their modern offices in Ashton in Makerfield.

About the role

They are looking for a professional customer service advisor, primarily responsible for booking engineer appointments and to act as the first point of contact for their clients located all over the UK.

Daily duties will include:

  • Taking incoming telephone calls and dealing with queries
  • Booking and scheduling engineer appointments
  • Updating the internal database
  • Dealing with problems and occasional complaints
  • Ensuring that clients are given an excellent level of service
  • Emails and letters
  • Updating engineers with their daily schedules
  • Dealing with product related questions

We are looking for a smart and professional candidate, who has experience within a customer service focussed role, and you must have a professional telephone manner.

Hours of work will INCLUDE WEEKENDS, 5-day week, either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, with 2 days’ office during the week. (normally Monday/Tuesday off).
