THE JOB TITLE: Customer Service Sales Manager
THE SALARY PACKAGE: Up to £40,000 Basic + OTE + Benefits
THE TERRITORY: Must be commutable to the Norwich area
A business that is widely known and recognised for high quality products. With a reputation of best in class service and delivery is looking for a "player/manager" to help grow and manage the sectors no.1 sales team.
THE ROLE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE SALES MANAGER:
Taking on the role of customer service sales manager, you will be wholly responsible for the sales office operation within the site, managing a team comprising of customer service agents, product specialists and a field sales team.
As the business moves forward they are investing in new technology, processes and ensuring their strong team culture is sustained and improved upon. If change is needed you will oversee it with the full backing of your director who plays a key role in devising strategy and working with you to implement it. You will be the glue that binds the site with the Directors and Board members.
With huge opportunities in the market right now, from existing routes to market but also eCommerce you will analyse trends and work with procurement and marketing to achieve growth.
This is a role where you are managing what is in place currently, but working closely with the Director, transitioning the team towards a proactive sales focused environment.
EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE SALES MANAGER:
As an individual, you will ideally have had similar experience of managing a sales office / customer service operation and be able to prove how you’ve had a positive impact on businesses you’ve worked for previously.
You should also be confident in your own ability and experience to be able to suggest changes and see through their implementation. (But not change for changes sake)You will not need to rewrite the script in this role as a great deal of work has already been done and the business has a clear vision of where they want to be in the future and have laid those foundations.
KEY SKILLS IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE SALES MANAGER:
- The ability to operate at all levels from entry level to boardroom
- High level excel skills inc pivot tables
- An analytic approach inc gap analysis, trend analysis and report analysis
- Previous experience using sales software and generating reports
- Remote management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail across all functions inc administration
