Software Development Manager - Regulated Sector Experience - Business Leader

An opportunity for a Software Development Manager with a broad appreciation for technology to join a financial services business in Birmingham.  The role has people and technology management from top to bottom and requires someone that can deal with stakeholders at all levels, from Directors of the business to less experienced developers.  Reporting in to the Head of IT you will be helping to deliver the software development strategy for the business and ensuring delivery of this strategy inline with the company vision and goals.

Sound knowledge of the SDLC, implementation and integration work and a track record of delivering are all key elements to the role as the technology landscape is not centred around any core technology, you will have exposure to new technologies, as well as dealing with legacy systems.  Managing a team of developers across multiple disciplines, motivating and leading the team to deliver key objects.

You'll be working closely with peers across the Senior Leadership team to drive the technology agenda for a business that are undergoing a tech transformation.

The tech landscape briefly comprises of: Ms.Net, Java, Mobile Dev, AS400, SQL Server, CRM, Javascript.
