HGV Class 1 Driver Wanted - Great opportunity to work for a very well established and professional organisation. 

Driver Hire Slough are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to work for one of their long-standing customers located in the Colnbrook area. 

Our customer is a worldwide organisation and their operation in Colnbrook specialises in the movement of recyclable material. The material is predominantly shredded plastic packaging that is converted in to renewable energy.

Initially this contract is being offered on a temporary basis, although should you prove to be a responsible, reliable and professional candidate then there is an opportunity for this contract to be extended further with the view to becoming a permanent employee of our customer. . 

Due to the nature of the work, you would be expected to operate a hydraulic walking floor trailer - previous experience of this would be beneficial, however this is not essential as they will provide you with full training / induction. We / they are looking for someone that would like to further their professional experience by using this type of equipment and has a helpful, can-do attitude.

Work is 5 days out of 7 one week 6 days out of 7 the following week starting between 04:00 - 07:00 with the average working day being around 10 hrs. Click apply to further discuss. 

Due to insurance conditions you must have held your HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) entitlement for a minimum of 12 months and have no more than 6 points active on your licence - any DD, DR or IN conviction codes will not be accepted. Furthermore, age restrictions also apply.

We are offering a rate of £14.00 per hour*. Saturdays and Sundays would be a flat rate of £17.00 per hour*.
