The Company

In preparation for increased demand for the second half of the year the business is looking to add an additional Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to the team

The Role

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be working on a wide variety of equipment across the site, this will include kilns, pick and place robotics, drying ovens and a range of different types of conveyor systems.  You will also be responsible for PPM’s as well as dealing with breakdowns as they arise, this will include

• 70% of your work will be electrical, fault finding and dealing with issues with electrical components such as relays, inverters, photocells and sensors.
• Replacing motors.
• PLC Fault finding on Siemens S5 and S7
• Carrying out planned electrical checks on components on site.
• You will also carry out mechanical work as required, on bearings, shaft, gears, hydraulics

The Candidate

The ideal Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role will need:

• An electrical engineering apprenticeship
• And or an electrical qualification to level 3
• Worked as a maintenance engineer in an automated environment
• Ability to fault find using PLC’s
