Job Title: Quality Assurer - Warehouse & Storage / BIT / LGV

Location: Home based - National role

The Role:
  • Responsible for the quality assurance of apprenticeship standards and AEB funded qualifications across the following subject areas: Warehouse & Storage, LGV, FLT, Business Improvement Techniques, Lean Organisational Management and Digital Skills.
  • Act as the main point of contact for End Point Assessment Organisations and support with the End Point Assessment process.
  • Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
  • Provide support and carry out observations to ensure an outstanding level of assessment, teaching and learning is achieved.
  • Implement any development and training activities required to ensure Trainers / Assessors and Functional Skills Tutors are delivering training to a high standard.
  • Drive and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Conduct regular standardisation meetings.
  • Provide ongoing support with the curriculum development of the qualifications.
  • Assist in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits.
  • Ability to write reports and maintain records using information systems.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must hold a recognised IQA Award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4) and Assessor Award (D32/D33, A1, TAQA L3, CAVA)
  • Hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or equivalent.
  • Have recent occupational competence and QA experience within the Warehouse & Storage, LGV, FLT, Business Improvement Techniques, Lean Organisational Management and Digital Skills areas
  • A strong, working knowledge and understanding of Awarding Organisation standards.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
