THE JOB TITLE: Service Coordinator

THE PRODUCT: Engineering Service

THE SALARY PACKAGE: Up to £23,000 Basic + Benefits

THE LOCATION: Huntingdon

 

THE COMPANY:


A highly successful and growing engineering services company that provide highly quality installation, repair and service work on industrial equipment and machinery are on the hunt for a new service coordinator.

 

THE ROLE OF A SERVICE COORDINATOR:

 

As a service coordinator your primary responsibility will be the scheduling management of the field-based engineering team. By scheduling installations, repairs and pre-planned service work it ensures that the engineers time is used effectively to be as efficient as possible.

Your role will include:

 

  • National scheduling of work (installations, repairs, service, breakdowns) for the field-based engineer team.
  • Liaising with the parts and spares department to ensure everything is in stock and the engineers have what they require to complete any jobs.
  • Being the 1st line of support and receiving initial inbound calls from customers to take details of faults, breakdowns and repairs required.
  • Making customer service calls to ensure the customer knows when the work has been scheduled for.


EXPERIENCE IDEALLY REQUIRED FOR A SERVICE COORDINATOR:

  • Highly organised.
  • Excellent communicator, both via email and over the phone.
  • Being comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Good IT Literacy and comfortable on the computer
  • Able to multi-task effectively and balance multiple workloads at any one time
