We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic professional with Procurement Management experience to join a Procurement team in York.
As the Senior Procurement Manager you will be responsible for all day to day Procurement activity and you will be the owner of all Procurement Procedures, with responsibility for briefing and assurance of compliance and you will have line management responsibility for Procurement Managers.
The role will be for a 12 months fixed term period, with the primary goal of driving value in all business negotiations through its procurement activities.
You will be working with a number of stakeholders, improving the engagement with the business and procurement team.
The role will include leading on a number of critical projects with our IS team, property teams and other business units as required to establish and develop supplier and sourcing strategies and relationships. Leading procurement events across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver best value and the business targets.
