Job Description:

This role is a key position within the IT Service Operations team and is the safe of IT Service Operations across the business. This is a challenging, fast paced position which requires the suitable candidates to excel under pressure.

Candidates must be open to shift work - on a 24/7 basis (inc. night shifts on a rotational pattern) to be eligible for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Service Monitoring to identify service impacting issues across the business
  • 24/7 coverage and on call
  • Management of all Major Incidents within the business
  • Stakeholder Management - Internal Business Units and External Suppliers
  • Taking accountability for the War Room and running bridging calls from MIM inception to resolution
  • Chair IT Service Meetings with stakeholders, internal and external
  • Change Management activities
  • Service Improvement
  • Problem management - root cause analysis
  • Risk management

Experience

  • ITIL V3 Foundation (as a minimum)
  • MIM experience within a IT Operations Centre environment
  • Stakeholder Management experience
  • ITSM Tooling knowledge
  • Service Monitoring tools
  • Experience Managing IT Suppliers/Vendors
