This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician / Service Technician who will be responsible for a variety of maintenance activities on rotating equipment.

Our client provides flow control solutions to the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas industry and are renowned for their highly engineered valve and pump brands. Candidates must have experience of maintenance activities including the removal, dismantling, inspection, repair, rebuilding, installation and commissioning of pumps, gearboxes, turbines, electric motors and valves. Candidates must be able to follow technical method statements and have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to a high degree of accuracy.

The successful candidate will work with a Supervisor / Manager and you will ensure accurate and on-time completion of equipment repairs and completing strip down reports, assembly re-build records and test requirements to meet daily, weekly or monthly work schedules. You will measure and record all dimensions / tolerances / clearances as required.

Health and safety is the no. one priority. As such, candidates must be able to carry out their duties in full compliance with the client and customer HSEQ procedures. In addition, candidates should have a CCNSG safety passport.
