Automated Protocol Tester opportunity - Newbury based - 30k-35k

Working within the Telecoms team of a high profile organisation you will undertake the following responsibilities:

* Design Test scenarios / Test Case for IN / HLR domain

* Create Traceability Matrix

* Use the agreed Test Tools/trackers and Environments to execute test scripts and produce all test deliverables and results

* Execute the manual and automated test cases

* Log, Track and Retest Defect using Defect Management Tools

* Create and ensure availability of Test Data

* Inform the Test Lead, Test Manager and non-functional test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process

For this position, you need to have the following experience:

* Defect tracking tools such as HPQC or JIRA

* Experience in key protocols - INAP, MAP, DIAMETER, TCP/IP, XML

* Basic understanding of Linux/Unix OS

* Experience of integration and acceptance Testing / E2E testing of telecommunications services and equipment

* Understanding of 2G, 3G mobile network

* Knowledge/experience in LTE technology: 4G, VOLTE, VoWifi - N/W architecture, flows and interfaces

This role is to start ASAP and offers a salary between 30k - 35k + benefits
