Team Leader - Food Manufacture

Our client, a Food Manufacturer of high-quality products & who command a prominent position in their specialist area have an opportunity for an ambitious, motivated Team Leader to join their Food Manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for:

• Motivation of staff through effective communication
• Implementing HACCP and BRC standards
• Ensure production is carried out in compliance with food safety legislation
• Minimise customer complaints through good production controls
• Adhere to administrative procedures where these impact on production functions
• Identify and implement improvements
• Experience with flow wrapping machinery

Skills and experience:

In this hands-on role, you will already have gained experience as a Team leader or supervisor within a food manufacturing environment.

You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and with proven ability to lead with authority while maintaining good relations with colleagues.

You must have a proactive approach to problem solving and be organised and thorough in every task you undertake.

For the right candidate there may be progression opportunities as the business grows.

Working Hours:

Typically, 6:00am – 2:30pm 5 days per week, although some flexibility around these times is required.

Salary:

£19,500/annum
