Job Description:

You will have specific responsibility for technically leading the SharePoint element of Microsoft 365 Transformation / Change to ensure the Board achieves maximum benefit from adoption of new digital technologies, processes and applications.

As a SharePoint Administrator you will support the business in its adoption of SharePoint and the move to using SharePoint in the Cloud - you will also cover other integration with Share Point from other Office 365 applications.

Day to day duties will include -

  • To be the technical authority for the design of Share Point Online architecture within the Health Board, ensuring that migration to the new environment takes maximum advantage of the benefits that this offers.
  • To carry out in depth analysis of current use of Share Point and shared network folders, including applications and tools that may have dependencies.
  • To provide a thorough statement of requirements for migration to Share Point online.
  • To plan and deliver a migration strategy to SharePoint online that meets the requirements of the organisation.
  • To provide governance and advice on the use of SharePoint to Business areas to improve their effectiveness and improve productivity.
  • Work with Support Areas to Provide Guidance and support with their Promotion of SharePoint and other O365 Products.
  • Act as a single point of reference for SharePoint Escalation adoption queries with each medical unit/teams.
  • To be responsible for driving the use of SharePoint and one drive to remove legacy data based on file servers
  • To provide advice and guidance to the business on Office 365 core products: SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
  • To provide Support, guidance and governance to Projects in relation to the use of 0365 Products
  • Creation and governance of process and documentation related to 0365,
  • Work with our Asset and licence teams/vendors/partners to ensure the compliance of our estate is not impacted.
  • Interface directly with all service delivery teams.
  • Create, update and maintain technical knowledge base and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to other members of the team.
  • As part of this role you may be required to participate in the department on call rota dealing with potential management escalations.

  • The role will require occasional travel between different places of work.
  • Requires standard keyboard skills and manipulating complex data.

Experience/skills required -

Educated to Degree level or equivalent demonstrable level of work experience and knowledge

Post grad qualifications or equivalent training/experience in;

Technical Transformation

SharePoint Administrator 2010, 2013

Evidence of Continued Professional Development

Microsoft Certifications or equivalent

Microsoft Certified Solution Developer

SharePoint system administration experience

Scripting - PowerShell

Migration experience

Working knowledge of supporting MS technology including IIS

MS SQL and Active Directory

Experience of Senior Stakeholder engagement

Knowledge of Microsoft OS's

Experience of SharePoint within a Health Environment

Previous experience of working in Project Teams / Support teams

Ability to document work done and for others to follow/implement whilst following common Change processes.

Previous experience of the NHS

Must be able to travel within geographical area.

May be required to work hours flexibly on occasion

You may be required to work as part of an on call escalation.

This role is to start asap and is inside IR35. Will pay up to £21.99 p/h PAYE + HP and pension or £27.43 p/h Umbrella
