Key Worker (Welfare to Work)

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for experienced welfare to work key workers who will work to support Greater Manchester residents to identify, access and gain meaningful and sustained employment.

You will work with a range of customers who have barriers to employment.  Supporting a fluctuating case load, you will identify what support is required that will enable their progression into employment.  With access to a network of providers who can deliver accredited/non-accredited training, you will broker the support needed to help your customers to secure work placements whilst intensively job seeking.

You will have experience working for a welfare to work provider and be target driven and self-motivated.  You will primarily delivering one-to-one activities and group sessions.  You will complete SMART action plans with all customers and follow up at each meeting to ensure they are on track to secure employment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
