FoxPro Developer - Java, FoxPro, V7, SASS, QlikView, SQL

Working for a leading insurance business, based in Oxford, we are looking for a Senior FoxPro Developer to work solely on the company’s core product and in-house system.

This is a part remote role, whereby you are able to work 2 days from home each week and 3 days in the office. You will work 37 hours per week and must be willing to work the occasional weekend or evening to carry out testing, support, or maintenance if needed.

FoxPro Developer – Job description:

As a Senior FoxPro Developer, you will be working solely on a custom-built business system. You will be responsible for the full development life cycle for all projects including the design and development, testing, roll-out, user acceptance and ongoing support. You will be working on the maintenance of a variety of production systems, as well as, managing version control and working closely with colleagues in the UK and US for the support of servers and security issues.

The tech stack you will be using includes: Java, FoxPro (7,8,9), SQL, V7, QlikView, SASS

FoxPro Developer – Candidate Specification:

The successful candidate will have solid commercial experience in the use of FoxPro 7, 8 and 9 and feel comfortable working independently. You will be someone who can hit the ground running and really make the role your own. You will have a good amount of experience coding in Java and SASS and will have used database tools such as SQL. Some experience or knowledge of V7 and/or QlikView would be a bonus!
