1. Systems Safety Engineer Job Description

The System Safety Designer is responsible for:

1. Lead the Functional Safety activity at the system level for Electric Powertrain projects
2. Responsible for deriving the Technical Safety Requirements
3. Define System Architecture and the Technical Safety Concept
4. Plan, perform and monitor functional safety activities as per ISO 26262 - part 4
5. Perform safety analyses - System FMEA, System FTA, Common Cause Analyses, Diagnostic Failure Analysis etc.
6. Support execution in verification and confirmation reviews.
7. Interact with all relevant stake holders (Tier1, OEMs, internal project teams) to execute functional safety activity

Key skills

1. Knowledge of ISO 26262
2. System Engineering
3. Safety Analysis such as DFMEA, FTA
4. Knowledge of Electric Powertrains, power electronics systems and inverter operations (preferred)
5. Leadership
6. Working with multinational team working

Technical background

1. Experience in automotive field
2. Experience in safety-critical development

Language skills

1. English knowledge is mandatory

Education and former experience

1. Technical Engineering Degree or equivalent knowledge.
2. Experience in functional safety development and / or System Engineering, ideally in the automotive industry.

4. Availability to travel

2. Software Safety Designer Job Description

The System Safety Designer is responsible for:

2. Responsible for deriving the Software Safety Requirements
3. Responsible for SW Architecture and Detailed design
4. Plan, perform and monitor functional safety activities as per ISO 26262 - 6
5. Perform safety analyses - SW FMEA, SW FTA, Dependent Failure Analysis etc.
6. Software Unit Test/ Integration & Verification Test
7. Support in execution of verification and confirmation reviews.
8. Interact with all relevant stake holders (Tier1, OEMs, internal project teams) to execute functional safety activity

Key skills

1. Knowledge of ISO 26262
2. Software development for safety critical systems - requirements, architecture, design, implementation and testing
3. Software safety analysis
4. Working with multinational team
