Position Summary:

In an effort to solve more complex problems, you will provide engineering and technical expertise with leadership skills to manage workloads. You will be expected to develop advanced skills, work independently and as part of a team.

-PE Required

-Experience in the Power Distribution Utility space is a must

Job Functions:

-Technical/Engineering proficiency and counsel in the recognition, analysis and solving of problems

-Effective estimating, scheduling, planning, monitoring and organizing of work duties

-Complete and correct technical reports, documentation, correspondence, calculations and sketches

-Continuous development of job-related, technical, engineering and professional knowledge, performance and skills.

-Effective oral and written communication skills

Requirements:

-Graduate from an ABET Accredited - 4 yr. engineering program.

-7 to 10 years experience as an engineer

-State registration as a Professional Engineer.

-Skilled in engineering theories and principles.

-Proficient in practices of design issues and researching engineering, assessing alternatives, making thought through recommendations and preparing and presenting suggestions.

Desired Qualifications :

- Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia

- Project management experience in the utility industry.
