Project Controller - Portsmouth - 4 months - £25.75ph LTD (Other Payment Methods Available)

This role will requires you to obtain a BPSS clearance prior to starting. If you cannot achieve this, you cannot apply for the role.

Role Overview

The role is seeking an experienced Project Controller to work for BAE Systems Maritime Services group on Portsmouth Naval Base. The base is focused around the maintenance, repair and build of surface ships for the Royal Navy/ MOD.

This roles primary function is to support cost control, financial forecasting and financial analysis. Day to day, the role is focusing on the measurement and analysis of financial data and data manipulation using Excel.

Core Duties

• Project cost control/ analysis. Actuals against budget.
• Project forecasting
• Roll up of project costs and forecasts to a programme level
• Contract reporting at CAM and Tier 2 level - creation of packs and chairing project reviews
• Action Tracking
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Resource planning (BRP)

Qualifications and Knowledge Needed

• Planning, scheduling and reporting experience.
• Excellent/ Exceptional Excel skills.
• Ability to use SAP.
