You will be focusing on specifying, designing, and architecting computer solutions based on their customers' requirements. You will be taking responsibility for the design definition and realisation from initial requirement capture and consultation through the realisation and production process through to discontinuation.

You'll also be working alongside an expert team of professionals, leading the wider organisation with project management support to develop new products for customers from cradle to grave. Finally, you will be supporting business strategy by proactively developing hardware knowledge with regular engagement with their key hardware partners.

Key Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
• Competent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Experience in collaboratively developing end to end customer hardware solutions
• Experience in authoring technical specifications.
• Experience in a computing or technology-related industry.

Desirable Personal Attributes:

• Experience in Industrial computer hardware market
• Commercial awareness and experience of working to tight time frames and budgets.
• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders to tight timeframes and budgets.
• Experience in bid management
• Experience supporting and preparing written quotations or proposals.
• Experience working with the global supply chain.
• Basic understanding of regulatory and safety requirements
