Job Description:


White Label is now recruiting for an exciting new Project Engineer role for one of our successful manufacturing clients in the North Manchester area. 

The company is a market leading manufacturer of industrial machinery and due to expansion requires an experienced Project Engineer to come on board. 

The company is looking for a Project Engineer with a strong mechanical design background for the following role:

  • Works together cohesively with the technical and production teams.
  • Provides technical support that address process concerns in product developments.
  • Analyzes and isolate root causes of process issues and develop and implement permanent solutions.
  • Establishes customer and internal engineering change orders (ECOs), processes and incorporates the changes, and insures changes become effective.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or other members of the manufacturing community.
  • Performs engineering activities in compliance with established company and manufacturing standards, engineering principles, customer requirements, and related specifications.
  • Confers with internal customers and engineering staff concerning product design and tooling to insure efficient production methods.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing engineering capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Analyzes existing process control systems, determine their effectiveness, and drive to improve systems, leading to measurable reduction in scrap and variable cost (labor, materials).


Education & Work experience

  • Beng or HNC
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


  • Ability to run projects from concept though to manufacture, often multiple project simultaneously
  • Well skilled in 3d CAD System like Solid Works or Inventor.
  • Ability to understand and work with Engineering databases such as PLM, Gain.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, assembly instructions and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to define manufacturing problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpersonal skills. Capable of communicating effectively with internal and external parties in a factual and professional manner
