Requirements:

1. HS Diploma or equivalent
2. Read and interpret blueprints
3. Read, write, and understand welding symbols
4. 3+ years experience as a 100% pass rate welder
5. Certified welder - multiple certifications accepted
6. Pass weld test - 2g, 3g, 4g on 1 inch plate
7. Must know gouging - no exceptions!

Description
-Fabricate parts by bolting, clamping and tack welding according to blue-prints, shop routers and procedures.
-Must be able to write legibly and know how to set up, operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
-Set up and weld parts using welding equipment.
-Use hand tools and be able to correctly set up and operate applicable machines.
-Must be able to perform work with minimum supervision and exercise individual initiative and judgment.
-Must maintain production documentation per required procedure. To perform arc welding, flux-core welding, and
submerged arc welding in accordance with established methods and procedures.
-Perform other work related tasks as required and assigned.
-Comply with all Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Qualifications - External
-3+ years practical welding experience.
-Able to read prints and interpret all welding symbols.
-Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
