Position Description:

• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to power transmission
• Be able to plan, organize, schedule, and monitor own work activities
• Produce Plan-Profile sheets as well as hardware and structure detailing
• Ensure designs confirm to client standards
• Develop detailed and correct technical documents, reports, drawings and sketches, correspondence, and calculations
• Comfortable speaking/corresponding with clients if needed
• Train and mentor junior team members
• Continuous improvement of job-related, technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain accurate records and files
• Support of the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of related power transmission design
• Associate's or equivalent certification in engineering or engineering technology preferred but not required
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Able to lead transmission design projects with little to no supervision
• Prior experience utilizing PLS-CADD
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
