Main purpose of the role us to assist in the work of the Land Charges department in collating and providing information in connection with the conveyancing process, to customers such as agents, solicitors, professional bodies and members of the public.
Knowledge, Skills and experience:
A general understanding of the Council services related to the Land Charges function and specifically Development Management, Planning Policy, Environmental Health, Highways and Building Control.
A basic understanding of how services are provided in a Local Government context and political awareness about the issues facing local government
A basic understanding of the legal and regulatory framework for Town Planning
An understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction with a strong customer focused attitude.
