Project Manager – Water Treatment Sector

£35k - £45k Per Annum + Car

Based in Staffordshire, immediate start

This growing business is looking to maintain their expansion and are consistently winning new projects. There are several projects that need supporting on an ongoing basis and these projects range from installation of new water treatment equipment through to maintenance and overhaul of older equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for the following

• Responsibility for all new and existing projects
• Managing and overseeing up to 12 projects simultaneously
• Dealing with the supply chain
• Controlling of project costings, labour costings, equipment costs, equipment hire
• Check initial design proposal to ensure that it’s the right solution
• Co-ordinating all site-based activity
• Chairing project meetings with all of the sub-contractors
• Acting as the interface between the sub-contractors and the business
• Responsible for all health & safety on site
• Be visual, walk the floor and identify problems and quality issues

The Project Manager will need the following skills to be considered for this role:

• Previous experience in a similar water or process environment
• Proven track record as a Project Manager
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Project Management qualification, ideally Prince 2
• MS Office experience
• Capability to manage the site and the sub-contractors
• Effective communicator, ability to adapt, direct and be assertive
• Engaging go-getter that can get inspire the team
• Charismatic individual
• Lead by example – set the right standards
