My client is an expanding Cafe'/ Restaurant that is growing and making a name for themselves within the beautiful town of Cirencester. They are looking for an enthusiastic Chef with a thirst to learn not only British food but also food with unique flavours from the east and around the world. Menu items include light bites and snacks served with drinks all the way up to main meals.

The vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for someone relatively new to the industry and wanting to work within a stimulating environment. You will be learning unique skills working directly under an outstanding chef. You will learn to utilise locally-sourced quality ingredients and treat them with care and detail. 

This business is a fast-paced, fresh food operation where no two days are the same. In fact there are more upcoming opportunities to be a part of in their business growth plans. This position is available for the successful applicant to start immediately, however the client may be willing to wait for the right candidate to serve out their notice period.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience within fresh food operations 
• Great friendly attitude. 
• Ambitious to further their career in the industry.
• Interest in cooking fresh modern food, in its preparation and presentation.  
• Interest in world flavours and ingredients. Especially far east, Pacific rim cooking. 
• Ability to respond to complex instructions
• Passion for People and everything hospitality.
• You will need to be punctual and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work within the COVID guidelines for hospitality businesses. 

Details

• Hourly rate £8.25- £9.50, depending on experience.
