This role plays a central part in the overall International Trade Team strategy for future DIT and Trade support for new exporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the programme by providing local market intelligence, best practice and ideas for development with Trade Team Managers in business planning, DIT NPH Regional and HQ Teams, including the national DIT lead and opposite numbers in other regions; suggesting suitable sectors/markets as a focus for the future of the RGS programme as required, and share best practice
  • Work with the NW Trade Management Team to deliver presentations and provide relevant material and support to business representative organisations, business to business networks and sector bodies to ensure they have a good understanding of the programme.

  • Ensure the agreed DIT outputs are achieved by end March 2021. Monitor and collect output and impact data for each data set for each individual RGS event; and ensure all appropriate data is captured on the Client Relationship Management system in a timely manner against agreed deadlines in line with audit and quality standards.
